sierra & jordy // september 13th, 2025 @ the denver botanic gardens

sierra and jordy’s special day was straight out of a dream. it was a beautiful, warm & love-filled day in mid-september. celebrated in the heart of denver at the botanic gardens.

when sierra and jordy reached out about their wedding, i knew we would click right away. they had a vision for their day & knew that they just wanted it to be intimate, intentional and full of the people that they love. their flowers reflected that and so much more. with nailed down details, textural blooms, candlelight and styled fruits. it. was. perfect. 

the ceremony took place in the annuals garden, surrounded by all of their best friends and family. with their design, we wanted to keep it elevated and striking, but without taking away from any of the elements that the botanic gardens had to offer. the gardens were lush and filled with the start of fall blooms and foliage so delicately cared for. arrangements perfectly framed sierra & jordy, placed on hand-built wooden pillars in various sizes. hydrangea, scaboisa pods and texture were the stars, but locally sourced basil, dahlias, amaranthus and sedum had my heart. 

after the ceremony took place, the guests moved directly behind the pavilion to the terrace. they were greeted at the bar with a statement arrangement including anthuriums, hydrangea, amaranthus & even a surprise artichoke to cheers to the celebration! my team and i were behind the scenes, moving the ceremony design swiftly to the photo drapery backdrop with ease, as the catering and planning staff began to set the beautiful serpentine table. tables were set & linens were added, so my team and i began to set the tablescape. vintage silver vessels all sourced from local antique & thrift stores to keep an organic and welcoming feel. it was important to s&j that everything stayed low and not too overwhelming so their guests could collaborate and celebrate with ease. we highlighted the floral tablescape with various sized candles and lamps that set the perfect mood. from the styled fruits on the table and the live music, guests were able to celebrate the beautiful love story of sierra & jordy. though, i think the guests had a little too much fun celebrating, considering the peaches, pears and styled fruits were even snacked on when we returned. 🙂  

it’s so beautiful when vendors can come together to celebrate and seamlessly create a perfect night for each and every love story. sierra & jordy’s special day was a day i will never forget. not only because their vision was out of a dream, but because their love was reflected in every little detail.
